Wondering if you should be using paid ads? While spending your money can be a bit scary, it can also be well worth the investment. As the saying goes, you have to spend money to make money. With that being said, we want to give you some insights on the options you have, the benefits they can lead to, and not falling into common pitfalls companies can make.
Here are several platforms where you can use ads. It is important to use the platform where your audience is.
While this isn’t all the options you can use, we recommend only utilizing 2 or 3 to stay within your budget and still be successful.
This is where we answer the question: are ads worth it? Yes, as long as you use them correctly. You can target younger audiences through Instagram, gain prospects through lead gen forms, increase event awareness through Facebook and show up in more search results through Google. The list goes on for the goals you are trying to achieve.
Our Ads At Work
We want to share a few campaign stats to show how well ads can work for your business. We recently set up a week-to-week test where we paused ads for one week (A) then started them back up for another week (B).
One of our campaigns was to increase website views using LinkedIn and Google. We saw an increase in page views by 64% from week A to week B as our ads focused on bringing prospects to the site. It was then our website’s job to convert those new user.
Another campaign was to gain job applicants for our open positions. We used LinkedIn to promote our job listings and had 198 amazing applicants for 5 positions in week B. We only had 1 applicant in week A through our website.
